  Love German food. Am a bit picky too. Wife and I tried a bunch of menu items. Saurbraten was great. Schnitzel was really really good. Knockwurst great. Red cabbage excellent. Spaetzel was great.
  . They were busy and folks were nice. Lots of local elderly folks too(was open 4 to 830pm for dinner today) which is a good indicator of the food as well. We will be back.

  Everything was perfect for our 4 person dinner. Our orders were taken soon after our drinks arrived, the schnitzel were tender and tasty. The side orders of green beans, sauerkraut and red cabbage were freshly prepared, heated well and better than average. Portion size was more than adequate. Service was prompt and friendly. I only regret we never had room for real German desserts. During 3 months of bicycle touring in Germany we never had anything better than this.
